Crystal Glossary

Agate- is an amplifying crystal associated with all the chakras( depending on the color). Overall, this crystal promotes emotional balance and calmness. Darker agate (blacks and browns) specifically aid in self-control. This crystal pairs well with clear quartz and other agates. 

Amazonite- is an absorbing crystal associated with the throat chakra. This crystal strengthens your confidence in speaking difficult truths. This crystal aids in manifesting prosperity, especially when paired with citrine. It also works well with rose quartz to amplify unconditional love.

Amethyst- is an amplifying crystal associated with the third eye and crown chakra placement. This member of the quartz family strengthens your intuition and your connection with the Divine higher consciousness. Amethyst has been known to aid in recovery from addiction. This crystal pairs well with citrine and clear quartz for amplified manifestation. 

Carnelian- is an absorbing crystal associated with the sacral and root chakra placement. Carnelian aids in developing a healthy sense of self while invoking courage and boldness. This crystal gives you an energy boost and protects against envy. Carnelian pairs well with clear quartz and malachite. 

Citrine - is an amplifying crystal associated with the solar plexus chakra placement. This member of the quartz family is self-cleansing and brings prosperous energy. Citrine aids in asserting personal will making it a great manifesting tool( especially when paired with amethyst). Citrine also pairs well with clear and smoky quartz. 

 

Clear Quartz-  is an amplifying crystal associated with the crown chakra. This crystal amplifies the energy of all other crystals and can be used to cleanse other crystals. Clear quartz provides protection while balancing the mind, body, and spirit. 

 

Emerald- is an amplifying crystal associated with the heart chakra placement. This crystal aids in experiencing Divine love and protection. Emerald promotes compassion and forgiveness within oneself. This crystal pairs well with morganite, and clear  and rose quartz.

Garnet- is an amplifying crystal associated with the root and sacral chakra placement. This crystal provides protection and aids in overcoming trauma. Garnet also aids in getting rid of limiting beliefs when manifesting. This crystal pairs well with garnets of different colors, clear quartz, and smoky quartz. 

Herkimer Diamond- is an amplifying crystal associated with the crown and third eye chakra placement. This crystal is used in meditation and dream work as it aids in connecting with the universe. This stone brings pure light and positivity. Herkimer diamonds pair well with amethyst, citrine, and other quartz crystals. 

Jade-is an absorbing crystal associated with throat chakra placement. Jade is a protection crystal that provides safe travel. This crystal interrupts negative thought patterns and helps in easing guilt. Jade is believed to strengthen Life Force energies and pairs well with clear quartz and malachite.

Labradorite- is an amplifying crystal associated with the throat chakra placement. This crystal is believed to be the connection between the earthly plane and unseen realms by the First Nation Inuit. Aids in reducing negative aspects of one's personality., like impulsivity and recklessness. Aids in dispelling illusions strengthens intuition and amplifies nature’s magical qualities. This stone pairs well with clear quartz, sodalite, and amethyst. 

Lapis Lazuli- is an absorbing stone associated with the throat chakra placement.  This stone aids in communication of all kinds while promoting honesty. This stone brings harmony and pairs well with clear quartz. 

Moonstone-  is an amplifying crystal associated with the third eye and crown chakra placement. This stone is a protection stone that aids in inspiring creative problem solving while strengthening your decision-making skills and rational thought. Moonstone pairs well with rose quartz and amethyst. 

 

Morganite- is an amplifying crystal associated with the heart chakra placement. This crystal provides healing to your heart and attracts love from the universe. Morganite brings a sense of genuine peace and serenity. This crystal pairs well with emerald, rose quartz, and aquamarine.

 

Rose Quartz- is an amplifying crystal associated with the heart chakra placement. This crystal is the stone of unconditional love, it aids in your love of self as well as others. It promotes self-healing and strengthens personal relationships. Rose quartz pairs well with amethyst and clear quartz. 

 

Selenite- is an amplifying crystal associated with the third eye and crown chakra placement. This crystal does not absorb or hold on to energies and can be used to cleanse all other crystals. Selenite protects while cleansing your aura of negative energies. This crystal pairs well with all crystals and stones. 

Smokey Quartz- is an amplifying crystal associated with the root chakra. This crystal connects all the chakras to balance their energies. Smoky quartz transmutes negative energy into positive energy and helps in grounding you. Smoky quartz pairs well with citrine, amethyst, and clear quartz. 

 

Sodalite- is an amplifying crystal associated with the throat and third eye chakra placement. This crystal enhances the energies you desire in your life. It also balances out your personal energies. This crystal pairs well with amethyst.
